Memorial service for Michael Anthony Davis will be 10 a.m., Fri., Sept. 28, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Claremore, with Father Paul Eichhoff officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Outlaw Cemetery, Catoosa.
Michael died Tues., Sept. 25, 2012, at his home at the age of 46.
The son of Anthony Joseph and Mary Susan (Nolan) Ferguson was born March 15, 1966, in Temple, TX. Michael grew up in Catoosa, and graduated from Catoosa High School in 1984. He attended Rogers State University for a year, before joining the US Army. He served four years, including a tour in the Gulf War Desert Storm. After his discharge he began working in electrical estimating. In 1987 he married Dawn Parker. He made his home in Catoosa. Michael enjoyed designing indoor and outdoor spaces. He also loved animals, especially his dog, Angel.
Michael is survived by his children: Michael Ray Davis of Catoosa, Jonathon Colby Davis of Broken Arrow, and Dylan Edward Davis of Catoosa; granddaughter, Tynleigh Davis; parents: Tony and Sue of Catoosa; brothers: Joe Ferguson and wife, Melissa of Catoosa, and Josh Ferguson and wife, Linda of Baltimore, MD; sister, Amy Barclay and husband, Aaron of Pensacola, FL; and nieces and nephews: Brandon Ferguson, Natalie Ferguson, Brock Ferguson, Gavin Barclay, Cameryn Barclay, Lachlan Barclay, Andrew Ferguson, and Hailey Ferguson.
