Michael 'Mike' Chester Lake

Michael C. Lake passed away on Sept. 4, 2019 at the age of 78. Born June 15, 1941 in Bay City Michigan to Harvey and Helen Lake. Mike served in the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Electrician Mate, 2nd class with the VAH-4 onboard the USS Bon Homme Richard. He worked at American Airlines for thirty years and was a proud member of the Transport Workers Union. As an avid sportsman, he enjoyed the outdoors and all the things a person could do in it. He lived big and loved large. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Helen Lake and his precious sister Judith Lake. He is survived by his lovely wife Virginia of the home and his son Jeff of Tulsa. A memorial celebration will be held at the Redeemer Lutheran Church 11:00a.m., Thursday, September 19, 2019 in Claremore.
