Funeral service for Mildred "Millie" Streeter Neihouse will be 2:00 pm., Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015 at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery, Lenapah.
Mildred passed away Sun., Nov. 8, 2015, at Autumn Wood Care Center at the age of 91.
The daughter of Willard Wesley "WWW" Westover and Grace Belle (Chronister) Westover was born Jan. 19, 1924, in Wiley, CO. Mildred was raised by her grandmother in Delaware. At the age of 18, she married Arthur "Herbert" Streeter in Independence, KS. Herbert passed away in January 1958, and in 1965 Mildred moved to Coffeyville, KS. She worked as a nurses aide at Coffeyville Memorial Hospital until her retirement. In 2013, she moved to Claremore to be near her daughter. Mildred loved dancing as much as possible, and also enjoyed fishing, watching TV, playing games, and visiting with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert; her parents; and sister, Josephine Hancock.
Survivors include her daughters: Mickey Schwaesdall and husband, Leroy of Poteau, and Regena Stritzke and husband, Jerry of Claremore; grandchildren: Julie Vega, Bryan Schwaesdall and wife, Melanie, Ronald Schwaesdall and wife Trish, Darrell Stritzke and wife, Paula, and Brad Stritzke and wife, Melissa; 14 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren, and dear friend Clint Ruhl.
