Funeral service for Milford "Fred" Mann will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 23, 2017, at the Inola United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at the Bill Batt Cemetery in Rocky Ford under the direction of the Inola Funeral Home & Crematory.
Milford passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 in Tulsa at the age of 75.
The son of Lee and Oklahoma Blackfox Mann was born January 15, 1942 in Tahlequah. As a young boy he was raised near Oaks. There he attended school, until moving to Colcord. He graduated from Colcord High School in 1960. After graduation Milford joined the United States Army. While serving, he was placed in the counter intelligence corps. He was discharged in August of 1963. Milford then returned home to Oaks. There he would meet Regina Clinton. They would marry on July 3, 1965 in Stillwell. The newlywed couple made their home in Oaks for a short time before moving to Inola. For the next few years, Milford worked for Patterson Steel and T.D. Williamson, before taking a position with Borden-Meadow Gold. He retired from there in 2008 after many years of service.
In his spare time, Milford enjoyed watching the news and any kind of sporting event. He also enjoyed reading, riding his bike, walking, and spending time outdoors.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Dale and Ronald Mann; sister, Sharon Anglin, and infant siblings, Dawn and Darryl.
Survivors include his wife, Regina; son, Chris Mann; brothers, Mike Mann, Greg Mann, and grandsons of the heart, Ben and Dan Murphy.
