Misty May Rankin

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Misty Rankin, age 39, who left us on Friday, September 27, 2024. Misty was born on February 4, 1985, to George and Gloria (Quinn) Franklin. A proud graduate of Claremore High School, Class of 2003, she brought warmth and kindness to all she met.

Misty dedicated herself to her family after marrying Scott Rankin in 2009. As a devoted stay-at-home mom, she poured her heart into raising her children, nurturing them with love and support. Her generous spirit and caring nature made a lasting impact on those around her.

Misty worked at Walmart, where her infectious smile and friendly demeanor brightened the day for both customers and coworkers alike. She was known for her big heart, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. at MMS-Payne Funeral Home. Grave side service will be held the following day, Friday, October 4, 2024 at Sageeyah cemetery at 10 a.m.

Misty leaves behind a loving family, including her husband, Scott; their cherished children, Penny Rankin and Scott Rankin Jr.; siblings, Jeremy Franklin and wife Kristina, Crystal Cross and husband James, and Ashley Franklin; as well as her aunts, Ruby and Pam; many nieces and nephews; and countless friends who will forever remember her vibrant spirit and unwavering kindness. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
