Nancy Jacquelyn Chambers

A visitation for Nancy Chambers will be held Friday, September 14, 2012 at the Chelsea Funeral Home and Crematory from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

Nancy Jacquelyn Chambers passed away Sunday, September 9, 2012 at the age of 65.

The daughter of Jack and Nancy Marney Berry was born September 5, 1947 in Claremore, Oklahoma. She attended Claremore schools, and was a member of the graduating class of 1965. After graduation she began working for her father at Berry Oil \ Phillips 66. The next several years she spent in Claremore raising her family. After her children finished school, Nancy moved to the Big Cabin area. Over the next few years she worked for Frisby’s Greenhouse, Baker Hughes and retired in 2010 from Cinch. In her spare time she loved gardening and spending time in her yard, but her most enjoyed pastime was being with her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Nancy Marney; brothers, Lloyd and David Berry and sister, Shirley Steidly.

Survivors include her children, Jerry Chambers and wife Lisa of Big Cabin, Jason Hedge of Claremore, John Hedge of Ponca City and Marney Hedge of Skiatook; grandchildren, Colten, Skyler, Colten, Dalton, Caden, Jackie, Garrett, Taylor, Morgan, Samantha, Jessica, and Erin and sister, Margaret Gustafson and husband Dennis of Edmond.
