Nancy Arlene Fox, known as Memaw to most, was born November 28, 1943 to Ancil and Marie Hayes in Memphis , TN. She closed her eyes for the final time, to wait the second coming of the Lord, on February 9, 2023 at home surrounded by her family. 

Nancy lived in Texas for a few years until her parents moved to Tulsa. She grew up and graduated school in Tulsa. Nancy lived her life serving the Lord and loving her family. She was an active and long standing member of the Claremore Seventh Day Adventist Church. She had a passion for music and played multiple instruments, which she taught herself how to play by ear. She was a talented vocalist, pianist, and played multiple forms of guitar, including the banjo, she was often found playing in a band with her very good friend Jeanie. She was also a very talented artist and most enjoyed painting. She loved horses and her dog Dozer, traveling, and rummaging through antique shops and second hand stores, especially with her best friend Jodi.

Nancy is survived by 4 of her children; Mary Louise Fox-Wilhelm of Inola, Richard Fox of Tiawah, Christina Fox of Tiawah, and Anthony Fox and wife, Tonya of Claremore; 9 grand children, Amy Rhyne (Jimmy), Sarah Botts (Jon), Clint Abbott (Keri), Teddie Ruehman (Marshall), Desiree Lewis (Jason), Dacota Fox, Savannah Cardenas (Gabriel Sr), Michael Harley Newman, Timothy Barrow; 21 great grand children, Colton (Amy), Trysten, Conner (Sarah), Ethan, Josalyn, Keely (Clint), Zayne, Addisyn, Asher, Zoei (Teddie), Ja’Kota, Christian (Desiree), Ava, Alexander (Dacota), Gabriel Jr, Michelle, Elijah, Dominick (Savannah), Alexis, Braxton, Ava (Harley); and 2 great great grandchildren Londyn and Eliana (Ethan)

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Ancil and Marie Hayes, her brother Tony Hayes, son Tony Lynn Abbott, her childrens father Richard Harold Fox, and grand daughter Rebecca Diane (Christy)

Memorial of Life will be held at the Claremore Seventh Day Adventist Church at 20555 S. 4170 Rd, Claremore, OK on Sunday February 26th at 3PM.
