Nancy Ann Hurst

Funeral service for Nancy Ann Hurst will be 2 p.m., Wed., Feb. 27, at the Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Chapel. Burial will follow at Lone Elm Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tues. 1-8 p.m.
Nancy passed away Sun., Feb. 24, 2013, at Claremore Nursing Home at the age of 67.
The daughter of Enis and Nigel Dennis was born Nov. 5, 1945, in Decauter, IL. In July of 1965 she married James Floyd Hurst. They made their home in California and Pryor, before moving to Claremore in 1992. Nancy loved her work as a cashier at Wal-mart. She also enjoyed playing Bingo, going to yard sales, and being around people.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Dewayne Dennis; and grandchildren: Perry and Blake Hurst.
She is survived by her husband, James of the home; children: Jackie Lynne Hayes and husband, Henry of Tulsa, James Floyd Hurst, Jr. and wife, Renee of Tulsa, Melissa Ann Hayes and husband, Harley of Tulsa, and Marty LaShane Hurst of Foyil; brother, Carl Dean Slabby and wife, Mary Beth of Claremore; sisters: Alice Hurst and husband, Stanley of Tahlequah, Marsha Stage of Mannford, and Thresea Snider of Mannford; 17 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
