Memorial service for Nolan Fry will be 11:00 am Saturday, May 25, 2019, at Chelsea Civic Center, 618 Pine Street. Pastor Tom Tanquary will officiate. Nolan passed away in Baltimore, Maryland on May 4, 2019. He was 36 years old.
Nolan was born in Tulsa on December 22, 1982, the son of Sharon and Jim Fry. His childhood was spent in Sunray, Texas and Brighton, Colorado. He was active in baseball and football and graduated from Brighton High School with the class of 2001.
He became a diesel mechanic, working for Adams County, and for Delta and Frontier airlines. He also drove a school bus for a time. Most recently, he had moved to Baltimore, Maryland to help a friend with a remodeling project.
Nolan enjoyed fishing, snowboarding, and watching sports. He was always reading and learning something new. He was a laid-back, genuine person who was always willing to help anyone in need and was a jack-of-all-trades. He was also a lover of animals with a huge heart and was beloved and loyal friend.
Nolan is survived by his parents, Jim and Sharon; his grandmothers Lorene Fry and June Valentine and husband Jimmy; his aunts Phyllis Kiger and Lisa Booker; his uncle Rick Booker and wife Glenda; his great-aunt Rita Harrison and family; sisters Camerann Johnson and husband Tyler and Leslie Reichert and husband Fred; and nieces and nephews Ainsley Johnson, Carly Reichert, Bode Reichert, and Legend Reichert.
