Service for Oscar Walter Schulze will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, 6, 2018 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, burial will follow at the Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery.
Oscar was born February 11, 1932 in Chelsea, Oklahoma and he passed away on July 26, 2018 in Dallas, Texas. He is survived by his brother Elmer Schulze and sister-in-law, two sisters Bertha Willcutt and Marcella Brazel, three step children, Buddy and Monty Pettway and Theresa Causey, and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings George Schulze and Martha Garbe.
Oscar attended Bethleham Lutheran School thru the 8th grade and Chelsea High School, where he graduated in 1950. Following his graduation, he joined the Air Force and was stationed in Biloxi, Mississippi and Denver, Colorado. He spent his overseas duty at Johnson Air Force Base in Japan. Oscar was honorably discharged in 1955, he then returned to the states and began working in Tulsa before moving to Dallas. It was in Dallas where he met Frances McAnally and the couple married on February 5, 1964. He gained 4 children, Buddy, Vickey, Monty and Theresa. Oscar worked for many years buying, repairing, and selling houses. He spent his spare time working in his garden where he raised many vegetables which he shared with others. Oscar will be remembered for his caring and hard work. He leaves behind many relatives and friends
