Together with Doris Woods, Leon was a loving father to Debbie Stacks, Cindy Engelke and Craig Woods, as well as a wonderful papa to his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his brothers Carl Woods and Marvin Woods, and sisters, Myrtle Guinn and Nadine Woods. Later in life, he met Marie Nicholson with whom he spent 25 years with. Leon had a love of Bluegrass music and old tractors.
A celebration of Leon will be held on Friday June, 29th in the chapel at the MMS - Payne Funeral Home in Claremore. The service will start at 11:00 am. The family would like to thank the nurses and medical personnel of St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa for their comforting care in his final days.
