Ozart Emil Bright Jr.

Graveside service for Ozart Emil Bright, Jr. will be 10 a.m., Tues., Aug. 24, at Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. Russell Albrecht officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service & Crematory. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday, 1-8 p.m.
Ozart died Fri., Aug. 20, 2010, at his home at the age of 68.
The son of Ozart Emil Bright, Sr. and Helen St.Claire Allen was born Jan. 29, 1942, in Smackover, AR. Ozart attended elementary school in Arkansas, and later Bauxite High School. He attended college at the University of Arkansas and Tulsa University. On July 3, 1960, Ozart married Beverly Ann Oswalt in Stillwell. Ozart worked as an architect for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly of the home; son, Art. E. Bright and wife, Lisa of Tulsa; daughter, Bonnie K. Gilliland of Cushing; 7 grandchildren; mother, Helen Bright of N. Little Rock; and sister, Shirley Gilliam of N. Little Rock.
Ozart is preceded in death by his father.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
