Memorial service for Pamela Cooper will be held 3:00 p.m. January 15, at Common Ground Church, 7810 E. 49th St., Tulsa, OK.
Pamela passed away Sunday, January 9, 2011 at her home in Claremore at the age of 51.
The daughter of Darell and Patricia Hadley Strait was born January 25, 1959 in Little Rock, Arkansas. As a young girl she and her family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma. There she attended Booker T. Washington High School, graduating with the class of 1977. She worked as a social worker for the State of Oklahoma. Helping under privileged people was her passion. In her down time she loved riding horses, and flower gardening, especially with her granddaughter.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Cecili Hadley; husband, Gary Cooper; and brother, Stephen Strait.
Survivors include her sons, Justin Kaczynski of Broken Arrow; Cody Cooper of Claremore; daughter, Kayla Cooper of Tulsa; granddaughter, Makannah Cooper of Tulsa; parents, Darell and Mary Strait, and Patricia Strait; companion, Richard French; brother, Sam Strait of Tulsa; and many other family and friends.
