Service for Pamela Leinn Gann will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 19, 2021at Friendly Foyil Baptist Church, burial will follow at Wards Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday, February 18 from 1pm-8pm, with family receiving visitors from 6pm-8pm. Pamela went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 12, 2021, at the age of 60.
Pamela Leinn Gann was born October 5, 1960 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas to Orville Dean and Frances Louise (Pilgrim) Gann. Her family moved to Foyil when she was 6 years old. She attended Foyil School and graduated high school in 1978. Pamela participated in academics and basketball while at school. She also was involved in the Tulsa Tribune spelling bee while attending elementary school. Pamela was the Valedictorian her senior year.
Her love of sports continued when she was older. March madness in the spring and PBR in the fall. You could find her beating the arm of her chair when the officials made an incorrect call. Her nickname was Spanky, because she was just like one of the Little Rascals. She had other nicknames, but her favorite was Momma Pam Ganner, the name given by her son Matt. Pam devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. She spent her time as a caregiver for Matt, until she was no longer able to in late 2019.
Those family members that survive include her son Matthew, and daughter Sarah Price; her grandson Seth Geoffroy and granddaughter Laurein Drumm; her mother Frances Gann; sisters Anita Wilson and husband Steve, and Sheila Moore and husband Lewis; nieces and nephews Jennifer and Mike Dennis, Steve and Jessica Wilson, Nancy Marie, Amanda and Wes Meeks, Jeremy and Marissa Moore and many great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, along with other extended family members. Pamela was preceded in death by her father Dean Gann.
