Pansy Ruth (Merrell) Smith, 76, of Inola, Oklahoma passed away Friday, May 13th, 2022 in Inola, Oklahoma. She was born to Fred and Sarah Jane Merrell in Egypt, AR on March 22nd, 1946.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one son, Tony Anthony.
Pansy’s favorite hobby was singing karaoke. She enjoyed it so much that she spent a good portion of her life hosting karaoke events in and around Inola. Pansy also enjoyed taking care of her house plants and occasionally stringing a guitar.
She is survived by her husband, Jackie Smith; son, Leon Anthony and wife Joyce; seven grandchildren, William Dewayne Anthony, Zachary Anthony, Jacob Anthony, Mallory Anthony, Rayme Ellis, Morgan Anthony and Haven Anthony; several great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
