Memorial service for Patricia L. Hughes will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 13, 2018 at Eastern Hills Baptist Church. Patricia passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018. She was 79.
Born April 15, 1939 in Indio, California to Roy and Beauna (Moren) Haynes, Patricia moved to Claremore as a young girl. She attended schools in Claremore and graduated with the class of 1957. In 1958 she married Leon Hughes and the couple made their home in Claremore.
Patricia enjoyed spending time with her family, she also loved to go fishing. When family gathered, Patricia would be somewhat competitive playing Pitch.
Those family members that survive include her husband Leon of the home; her son Kelly Hughes and wife Dawn; grandsons Kyle Hughes and Tyler Hughes; brother Larry Haynes and wife Sally; sisters Billie Stevens and JoAnn Edsel and husband Richard. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents.
