Patricia Ann Littlefield

Services for Patricia Ann (Hilbert) Littlefield will be at 2:00 PM Friday, July 19, 2024, at Washington Baptist Church. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Washington Cemetery under the direction of MMS Payne Funeral Home. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 2:00 to 7:00 PM. The family will be present from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.

Patricia passed away Monday, July 15, 2024, at her home in Claremore. She was 76. Born January 7, 1948, at Claremore Franklin Hospital to Fred Frances Hilbert Sr. and Ludy Marie (Reavis) Hilbert, the third child of six. She grew up in the Tiawah/Inola area and graduated from Inola High School. She met the love of her life, Richard “Dickey” Charles Littlefield, who lived across the road from her grandparents in Sequoyah/Washington. She was swept away by the boy doing Elvis on top of his barn. On May 25, 1966, Patricia and Dickey would marry in Pryor Creek. They made their home in Claremore, where she lived for 50 years. They had two children. Patricia worked for Claremore Laundry, Snoopy’s Daycare and Bab’s Daycare. She also babysat children in her home for many years. Patricia would also help Dickey with his electrical jobs, wiring new homes. Her job she loved most was being a housewife and taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Patricia enjoyed gardening, fishing and camping. During the summers you would find her and her entire family somewhere camping and fishing. She loved it when her sisters, brother and their families would join her family for camping trips. They took many weeks camping on Grand Lake and Oologah Lake.

Patricia is survived by her son, Danny Littlefield and wife Cindy, daughter Jackie Taylor-Armbrister, grandchildren: Alesha Dorsey and fiancé Elliott Hurst, Jessica Tatum and husband Christopher, Michael Wilson, Ashley Cummings and husband David; great grandchildren: Jett Dorsey, Maddie Cummings, Olivia Cummings, Tabri Hurst; sisters: Carolyn Lanier, Kathern Warson, Trudy Stonebarger and husband Larry, Cheri Kurtz and husband Gary, Vida Kunkel; Sister-n-laws: Shirley Nixon, Roma McDaniel and husband Jerry; brother-n-law Roger Littlefield and wife Brenda; several nieces and nephews.

Patricia is preceded in death by her husband Richard “Dickey” Littlefield; parents: Fred Hilbert Sr. and Ludy Hilbert; Stepmother Vila Hilbert; Sisters: Ella Chasteen, Freda Leach; Brother: Fred Hilbert Jr “Junior”; son-n-law Samuel Chet Armbrister; In-laws William “Bob” Littlefield and Ruth Lillian Littlefield; Sister-n-laws: Loretta Hilbert and Vivian Littlefield, brother-n-laws: Richard Vernon Duncan, Roy Chasteen, Olen Leach, Edward Lanier, Eldon Littlefield, Fred Nixon, and Daryl Kunkel.
