Funeral service for Patsy Sue "Pat" (Rhine) Green will be 10 a.m., Mon., May 5, at the MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Brad Canham officiating. Burial will follow at Washington Cemetery.
Pat passed away Thurs., May 1, 2014, at Craig General Hospital, Vinita, at the age of 76.
The daughter of Claude Ray and Jewel (Hilton) Rhine was born Feb. 16, 1938, in Claremore. At the age of 16, Pat married Hugh Harold Green on Aug. 2, 1954, at Sequoyah Baptist Church. She continued her education and graduated from Sequoyah High School. Through the years they made their home in Sequoyah, Welch, Adair, and Oologah. Pat worked as a nurses aide for many years, as well as a homemaker taking care of her family. She enjoyed tending her flowers, gardening, reading, sewing, and watching TV. Pat also enjoyed attending church at Cowboy Church in Oologah.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh; her parents; and infant sister, Carol Ann.
Pat is survived by her children: Glenda Harden and husband, Jeff of Welch, Brenda Yirsa and husband, Lynn of Nowata, and Loyd Green and wife, Paula of Welch; brothers: Butch Rhine, and Randy Rhine and wife, Joan all of Claremore; grandchildren: Jimmy Harden, Nicole Burn, Markquis Yirsa and wife, Megan, Crystal Freeman and husband, Cody, Derek Green and wife, Kandis, and Delaina Green; and great-grandchildren: Kennedy Burn, Cash Burn, Lucy Yirsa, Logan Yirsa, Jagger Freeman, Aubrey Harden, Judd Freeman, and Delta Green.
