Paul James Seman

Paul James Seman, 37, passed away on February 18, 2025. He was born on January 9, 1988, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Jim and Moneen Seman.

Paul grew up in Lakewood, where he was deeply loved by his community. He graduated from Lakewood High School in 2006 and enlisted in the U.S. Army in 2007. He was stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas, and served a 15-month deployment in Iraq. During his time in the Army, he earned several medals and awards, and was known for his quick wit and quiet sense of humor. He was honorably discharged in 2013 and later moved to Claremore, Oklahoma, with his family.

After his military service, Paul attended Rogers State University, earning a bachelor's degree in Community Counseling. It was in Claremore that he met Kayla French, through their work routine. The two married on November 9, 2022.

Paul was a devoted husband, father, and brother. He had a passion for firearms and preferred building them over buying. He loved video games, music, and watching movies, and he enjoyed playing Magic: The Gathering with friends. More than anything, he cherished spending time with his family.

Paul was blessed with his children, Lily, Emilia, Henry, and Maximus, as well as his stepsons, Kamden, Keegan, and Scotty. He is also survived by his sisters, Elizabeth, Julie, and Megan, along with many beloved family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother Mary, uncle Jerry, and grandmother Martha.

Paul will be remembered for his dedication, kindness, and the joy he brought to those around him.
