Pauletta Christinia McElligott

Memorial services for Pauletta will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024, at 2:00pm, at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel. 

Pauletta McElligott, born on June 2, 1958, in Bartlesville, OK. Pauletta passed away on January 4, 2024, she was 65. She was a devoted wife to Robert McElligott for 22 years.

Pauletta was the beloved daughter of Ruth Don Edwards and Earnest Melvin Wise. Pauletta attended Taft High School in California. Her passion for travel led her to cherish places like Colorado and Branson. She found immense joy in spoiling her grandchildren.

For the better part of her life, Pauletta worked in the food service industry, predominantly as a bartender. She worked for 15 years as the bar manager of the American Legion in Tulsa, OK.

She was preceded in death by her children Kathy Regier, Robert Regier, and a baby girl and her brother Donald Wise. She is survived by her husband Robert; her daughter, Candace Hunt, as well as her grandchildren Riley Lazear, Liam Lazear, and Oakley Hunt; siblings, Sandra Harrel, Virginia Hibbs, Joyce Day, and George Matthew "Dusty" Wise.
