Pauline M. was born March 15, 1924 in Claremore, to David Newton and Velma Angeline (Crain) Collins, she attended Tiawah Schools and graduated with the class of 1942. Following her graduation, she married Haskell Clarence Warren on November 12, 1942. The couple made Claremore home for a time before making a move to California, where they lived for 18 years. She once said that she left Oklahoma crying all the way to California and left California crying all the way back to Oklahoma. Pauline, although sad to leave her home out west was grateful to return to her roots.
A dedicated wife and mother, Pauline was the definition of a homemaker. She fulfilled each of their needs and taught them by example the faith she had in Jesus Christ. Her unwavering prayers for them daily and her gift for knowing each one of them as individuals made them the people they are today.
Pauline's loving and caring nature extended to her friends and acquaintances as well. She led many folks to the Lord, just by telling them about her faith and her daily walk in life. Always positive, she seemed to enjoy the simple things in life, like time with her children and grandchildren. Pauline made a garden each year and canned its bounty. She was a great cook and seamstress and loved watching the humming birds. Pauline also loved to fish with her husband.
A loving mother, grandmother and friend, Pauline left her family and friends with a legacy of faith in God, a good work ethic and honesty in all that she did. She will be missed by all who knew her. Those family members that survive include her children Larry Warren and wife Debbie, Gary Warren and wife Patricia all of Claremore, Rick Warren and wife Phyllis of Castlerock, Colorado, Tony Warren and wife Fe of Clarksville, Tennessee and Linda Ewton and husband Jerry also of Claremore; 17 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; her brother Bill Collins and wife Betty Kay; her sister Louise Gardner all of Claremore and her best friend Vivian Breshears.
