Pearl LuAnn Bennett

Pearl LuAnn Remer was born on January 24th, 1944 in Gore, Oklahoma to Madelene (Ingle) Remer and Edward Preston Remer. Pearl departed this life on June 2nd, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 76.
Pearl attended and later graduated fron Vian High School in Vian, Oklahoma, class of 1962. After graduating high school, Pearl and Joe Bennett married on April 28th, 1962 and had three children, Joseph, JoAnne, and Clayton.
Pearl's passion for service was shown through her volunteer work with the children's activities in Blue Birds and Cub Scouts. When her children were older Pearl attended several colleges for additional education before starting her career.
Pearl started her professional career working at American Airlines and retired in 1999 after 22 years of service. Throughout her professional career, she volunteered to work in several organizations.Pearl was a charter member in Inola's Alpha Lambda Chapter Epsilon Sigma Alpha holding active leadership roles. She was also a charter member in the chapter of American Business Women's Association in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Both of these organizations were for community endeavors and raising funds to give college scholarships to high school seniors each year.
Pearl was active for several years as a Volunteer with the Tulsa Junior Achievement organization, going into Tulsa Public Schools teaching business courses.
After retirement, Pearl enjoyed reading, traveling with her sisters, time with family and friends, and watching OKC Thunder games on TV.
Pearl was preceded in death by her father Ed Remer, her mother Madelene Remer, her granddaughter Audrey Bennett, her grandson James Smith.
Pearl is survived by her son Joseph Bennett and wife Leslie of Sapulpa, OK, her daughter JoAnne Hall and husband Jewell of Sapulpa, OK her son Clayton Bennett of Inola, OK. Pearl had six grand children, Robert, Joe, Grace, Jane, Brock and Alyssa, and three great-grand children.
Pearl is also survived by her seven brothers and sisters, James Remer and Pam of Vian, OK, Woody Remer of Kellyville, OK, Jewell Turner of Inola, Ok, Sandra Brockman and Don of Vian, Ok, Charles Remer and wife Cathy of Okmulgee, OK, Marie Remer and husband James Dunn of Chouteau, OK, Neal Remer and wife Debra of Vian, OK, along with many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pearl's memory to Akdar Shrine, 2808 South Sheridan Road, Tulsa, Ok 74129-1014.
