Memorial service for Phyllis Jean Oldham will be 11 a.m., Sat., May 15, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church with Father Paul Eichhoff officiating.
Phyllis died Wed., May 12, 2010, at St. John’s Hospital, Tulsa, at the age of 75.
The daughter of Van L. and Thelma (Lunsford) Hayes was born May 8, 1935, in Green City, MO. Phyllis lived in Milan, MO, before moving to Claremore 30 years ago. She was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church, and helped with the altar. Phyllis volunteered with Meals on Wheels and the Claremore Veterans Center. She was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and the American Paint Horse Association.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Gary and Bob Hayes; and daughter, Vickie Boyette.
She is survived by her son, Bill Boyette of Claremore; daughter, Michelle Jordan and husband, Bill of Red Oak, IA; brothers: Larry, Bill, and Edwin Hayes all of Missouri; sisters: Dora Mae James, Doris Harding, Sandra Sinclair, Lorna Bywaters, Betty Mullenix, Cheryl Oder, Jane Anderson, Patty Banner, Carol Franklin, Kathy Simpson, and Jackie Hoover all of Missouri, and Helen Johnson of Texas; and granddaughter, Katie Jordan.
