Rae Lynn Bailey

Graveside service for Rae Lynn Bailey will be held at 2:00 p.m, Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Winganon Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Chelsea Funeral Home and Cremation Service on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 2-6 p.m. with family greeting friends from 4-6 p.m.

Rae Lynn Bailey passed away on Friday, October 15th, 2021 at the age of 42.

The daughter of John Bailey and Linda (Riley) Shrum was born October 21, 1978 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She would be a life long resident of Rogers County. As a child Rae was born with eye impairments. That led to her attending the Muskogee School of the Blind. It was there that she would eventually meet her life companion, Chris Fergeson. Together they would have a son, Jason. Rae Lynn briefly worked outside of the home. She was able to work at the canteen at the Claremore Indian Hospital.

In her spare time Rae Lynn had many hobbies. She loved listening to music, watching soap operas, and playing video games. She was also very well known for visiting. She loved to chat, and looked forward to every conversation.

She is preceded in death by her father, John Bailey.

Survivors include her mother, Linda Shrum; son, Jason Fergeson, companion, Chris Fergeson; brothers, John Bailey and wife Tammy, and Brandon Shrum and wife Berdena; sister, Kristy Lynn Bailey, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
