Graveside service for Ralph Eugene Crossley will be 10:30 a.m., Sat., Feb. 19, at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow. Burial will follow under the direction of Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service & Crematory. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Fri. 1-8 p.m., and family will greet friends 6-8 p.m.
Ralph died Wed., Feb. 16, 2011, at St. John Hospital at the age of 85.
The son of Roy and Leta (Smith) Crossley was born Dec. 18, 1925, in Seneca, MO. On Dec. 29, 1959, Ralph married Ethel Mae Young in Tahlequah. They made their home in Inola, before moving to Park Hill. They lived in Park Hill for 22 years. After Ethel passed away Ralph moved back to Inola. Ralph was a retired brick mason. He enjoyed building miniature log houses, gardening, and fishing. He especially loved spending time with his family.
Ralph is preceded in death by his wife, Ethel in 2001; his parents; two brothers; and two sisters.
He is survived by his children: Joyce Wilson and Randy Fincher of Chelsea, Marshall L. Deerinwater and wife, Nita of Inola, and Deborah D. Wilson and husband, Mark of Claremore; grandchildren: Eric Deerinwater of Inola, Steven Wilson and wife, Cindy of Ketchum, Dustin Wilson of Chelsea, and Tyler Wilson of Claremore; 6 great-grandchildren; and siblings: Myrle Crossley of Davis, Bruce Crossley of Fountain, CO, Phyllis West of Sapulpa, and Dale Crossley of Sapulpa.
