Rama Lee McClellan

Funeral service for Rama Lee McClellan will be 11 a.m., Wed., Dec. 15, at First Baptist Church with Revs. Nalita Shriver and Scott Barger officiating. Burial will follow at Chelsea Cemetery under the direction of Chelsea Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tues. 1-8 p.m. Rama died on Dec. 10, 2010, at Jane Phillips Medical Center, Bartlesville, at the age of 80. The daughter of Fred Lee and Nellie George (Brown) Barger was born July 1, 1930, in Oklahoma City. She married Marion Austin "M.A." McClellan on March 4, 1946, in Independence, KS. They made their residence in Cherokee Central. In 1960, they moved to Alluwe where they farmed and ranched for a living. Rama's life was filled with many accomplishments. After marriage, she left school and started her family. She returned to school in 1961 to finish her education. She and her daughter, Barbara graduated together in 1964.
