Rhetha Jean Harris

Rhetha Jean Harris passed away on January 24, 2023. She was 82 years old. Rhetha was born to John and Martha Johnson on April 16th, 1940 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. She grew up in Stilwell and attended Stilwell Public Schools. Rhetha met the love of her life, Billy Harris, on a blind date. The couple married on March 15, 1959 in Claremore, Oklahoma. Billy and Rhetha made their home in Claremore, Ok. 

Rhetha loved to read and in her spare time enjoyed working cross word puzzles, word searches and cross stitching. She was known as the best pie maker in the world. Rhetha and Billy were members at the Rehoboth Baptist Church. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Billy Harris; parents, John and Martha Johnson, along with 3 sisters and 4 brothers.

Rhetha is survived by her sons Dennis Harris (Sheila), Randy Harris; daughter Lisa Hardy (Wayne); sister Mary Baker; brothers, Jimmie Johnson and Ronnie Johnson along with three grandchildren, Daniel Hardy (Sierra), Samuel Hardy (Brielle) and Emmalee Hardy, and two great-grandchildren, Lincoln and Addie Hardy.
