Services for Richard G Floyd Jr will be Monday July 29 at 2:00 pm at Inola Funeral Home. 

RGFjr passed away Monday July 22 after his long battle with Alzheimer’s. He was 77 years young. Richard was born Feb 26 1947 in Tulsa, ok to Richard Floyd and Rae Elise Yeager. Richard was the oldest of four siblings. Richard attended Central High school in Tulsa and then was drafted into the United States Army in 1966. He served two years in Korea as a Military Policeman during the Vietnam War. 

He married his wife Kathie and got a son, Todd in 1977. Their daughter Lindsey was born in 1980. The couple moved to Inola, OK in 1982, where they currently reside. 

Richard was the owner of Richard’s Service Station and Richard’s Automotive. He spent his free time at the lake with his whole family, boat racing, mud bogging, vacationing with friends and letting his grandkids do whatever they wanted. 

Richard always wanted to be surrounded by people he loved and always wanted to have a good time.
