Robert "Bob" Allen Small

Memorial service for Robert Allen "Bob" Small will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 9, 2022 at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel.  Bob passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022.  He was 54.


Born June 28, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois he was welcomed by his parents Gerald Morton and Ailene Ellen (Friedman) Small.  He attended schools in Chicago and following his graduation he began working for the city, later he opened a tree service business.  With his move to Oklahoma, he continued to operate his tree service, "Bob's Tree Service". The business will continue to be operated as usual by his incredible team and wife Joyce.


Bob loved his family and made sure they had everything they needed.  He enjoyed spending time at his favorite fishing spot, or traveling.  He was a friend to everyone he met, and would help you if you asked.  He loved hearing the word Papa from his grand kids, spending time with them at every opportunity.  He supported and received support from his NA family, whom he loved.


Those family members that survive include his wife of Joyce Small; his step-daughter Crystal Burns and husband Brian, his step-son Casey Jones and fiance Resa Lucy, his beloved grandchildren Candisse Burns, Elijah Burns, Iralynn Jones, and Bear Jones; his siblings;Rob Koert and wife Dee, Debra Knight and husband Dennis, Gertrude "Momma" Walton, Jamie Walton and wife Dianne and niece's Jalynn, Robyn, Felicia, Sierra and Tiffany and Frank Walton and wife Debra and nephew Frankie and wife Aimee, neice Chelsea and husband Logan. Bob was preceded in death by his parents.
