Memorial service for Robert Melven "Biggin'" Sims will be 10 a.m., Sat., Dec. 11, at the Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Chapel with Rev. David Erwin officiating.
The son of George Elbert and Shirley Lee (Byrd) Sims was born June 21, 1986, in Claremore. Robert grew up in Claremore and Foyil, and attended Foyil schools. He played football and attended Owalla Baptist Church.
Robert was preceded in death by his father; brother, Tracy; and grandparents: Clyde and Emily Byrd, and Lena and Jack Sims.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley Sims of Claremore; brothers: Chris Magnum and wife, Joann, and George Sims, Jr. and wife, Donna all of Claremore; sisters: Dorothy, Lena, and Janice; aunt, Linda Byrd of Claremore; cousins: Sabrina Bradley of Big Cabin, and Andy and Rodney Byrd of Claremore; and many extended family members.
