Roberta Jean "Jeanne" Bradshaw

Services for Roberta Jean "Jeanne" Bradshaw were 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 1st Christian Church, Chelsea.

Jeanne passed away at her home on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the age of 75.

The daughter of Robert Wayne Harrell and Mary Alice (Fox) Harrell was born June 5, 1943 in Chelsea. Jeanne attended Chelsea Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1961.

Danny and Jeanne met in 1961 when Danny bought a turquoise '57 Chevy 2 door hard-top from Jeanne's father, who was well known around Chelsea as Low Penny Benny. Three months later they were married on August 6, 1961. They made their home in Claremore before moving to the family farm in Chelsea in 1974. They both loved traveling, and even took a trip to California on their Gold Wing motorcycle. Jeanne was by Danny's side at all times on the farm, including baling hay. Danny said it took a lot of training, but Jeanne was the best rake hand he ever had.

Jeanne loved spending time with family. She attended her children's sporting events, whether it be home or away. She also enjoyed playing cards and bingo, as long as she was winning. She attended the First Christian Church with her family for many years.

Jeanne is survived by her husband Danny Bradshaw of the home; children: Tammy Gillispie and her husband Scott of Chelsea, Stacy VanMaren and her husband John of Owasso; and Todd Bradshaw of Chelsea; three grandchildren: Jeremy Gillispie of Chelsea, Brittany Bradshaw of Texas, and Lane Bradshaw of Chelsea; three great-grandchildren: Cadance, Addison, and Hudson.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, and sister Judy Gullet.
