Funeral Mass for Robyne Gail Crowels will be 10:00a.m., Monday, August 17, 2015 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church. Robyne passed away Fri., Aug. 14, 2015, at Claremore Nursing Home at the age of 56.
Robyne Anquoe Crowels was born October 19, 1958 in Claremore to Jack and Ella (Collier) Anquoe. She received her education in Tulsa, graduating with the class of 1976 from Will Rogers High School. Robyne continued her education by attending Tulsa Community College. She work for Tulsa Indian Youth Council as a tutor. Robyne also worked for Tulsa city and county librarys, where she taught her bead work. In the late seventies, Robyne married Richard Crowles and this union was blessed with 2 daughters.
Robyne loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was an artist, master bead worker, singer, mother daughter, sister, aunt, grandma and teacher. Robyne was true to her Native American heritage and embraced it's traditions.
Her passing leaves a void in her family's heart. Those who survive include her mother Ella Anquoe of Claremore; her daughters Regina and Adrianne Crowels; her granddaughter Emilia Anquoe; her siblings Jackie Anquoe, Kelly Anquoe, Redcloud Anquoe, Liane Phillips and Jamie Whartenby and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
