Roger Dale Grigg

Funeral service for Roger Dale Grigg will be 10 a.m., Tues., May 31, at River of Life Assembly of God, Inola, with Pastor Rod Wilvorn officiating. Burial with military honors by the U.S. Army will follow at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service & Crematory. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Mon. 1-6 p.m.

Roger died Thurs., May 26, 2011, at his home at the age of 58.

The son of Sanford James Grigg and Edna Mae (Dotson) Walker was born Feb. 14, 1953, in Wagoner. Roger served in the U.S. Army from 1973-76. On Feb. 26, 1983, Roger married Pattie Conrad. Roger traveled for work, laying carpet and tile. They moved to Claremore around 5 years ago from Pawhuska. He was currently working for AXH. Roger enjoyed sports (especially watching OU Football), fishing, working in the garden, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. When he was younger he enjoyed coon hunting.

Roger is survived by his wife, Pattie of the home; children: Rodney Grigg of Stillwater, Cody Springer of Claremore, T.J. Grigg and wife, Melissa of Denison, TX, Kim Laird and husband, Danny of Pawhuska, and Chastity Grigg of Pawhuska; father, Sanford Grigg and wife, Doris of Pottsboro, TX; mother, Edna Mae Walker of Inola, OK; sisters: Linda Siebert and husband, Ron of Butler, MO, and Alicia Lunsford and husband, Walter of Inola; and grandchildren: Destiny, Miranda, Ashley, Devin, DaNae, Levi, Cami, Alyssa, Kaleb, Kyler, and Casey.
