Ronald Carol Jenkins passed away January 23, 2015 at his home at the age of 74.
The son of Lloyd and Rosa Riddle Jenkins was born November 4, 1940 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was raised in the rural Inola area, and attended Broken Arrow Schools. At the age of 18 Ron enlisted in the United States Army. Upon his discharge he met Judith Crutchfield. They later married and had one son, Bryan, and a daughter, Melody. Then several years later while working as a truck driver, traveling through Arizona, he met Kathy Little. On February 4, 1972 they married. To this marriage two children were born Ronda and Shawn. Ron and Kathy made their home in the Inola area. He then began working as carpenter. Building homes for many people in the area. In his spare time he loved making jewelry. He would make rings, bracelets and necklaces out of the stone that he found and polished in Arizona. However his favorite pastimes were hunting, fishing, socializing, and gardening. He was known by his family as a loving man who would help anybody in need.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Rose; and wife, Kathy.
Those family members that survive him include his children, Bryan Jenkins and wife Sherry of Broken Arrow, Melody Kirkland of Dallas, TX, Ronda Jenkins-Thompson and husband Steve of Broken Arrow, and Shawn Jenkins and wife Lauren of Broken Arrow; his grandchildren, Brandon Jenkins, Steven Jenkins, Tristan Jenkins, Major Jenkins and Carver Jenkins; and his great-grandchildren, Alyssa Jenkins, Bradley Jenkins, Hunter Jenkins and Colton Jenkins.
