Ronald Douglas "Ron" Sipes

Ronald "Ron" Douglas Sipes passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017, at St. Francis Hospital. He was 64 years old.

Born January 28, 1953 in Blytheville, Arkansas to Douglas and Christine (Springer) Sipes, Ron graduated from Dell High School with the class of 1972. He was raised on a farm while growing up, and helped his family as often as he could. Ron started working for Nibco before coming to Oklahoma for work. On March 3, 2015, he married Crystal Dawn Hall and the couple have made their home in Locust Grove.

Ron was most happy hunting and fishing. He enjoyed a good game of pool, and was very competitive, often winning with ease. Ron took good care of his family and loved spending time with them.

Those family members that preceded him in death include his parents and an infant sister, Cynthia Deloris.

He is survived by his wife Crystal of their home; children James Ronald Sipes and wife Jennifer of Washington, Rachel Morris and husband Mike, Ryan Sipes, Courtney Sipes, and Candace Sipes all of Claremore, and bonus daughter Chloe Morgan of Chelsea; his step-children Ryan Johnson of Chouteau, Adrian Johnson, Ethan Johnson, Dakota Hal,l and Savanna White, all of Locust Grove; 12 grandchildren, and 2 on the way; sister Lisa Pruett of Russellville, Indiana and brother John Sipes of Manila, Arkansas, and his beloved dog Scamp.
