Funeral service for Ronnie Wayne Wilson will be 2 PM, Tues., June 8, at the Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Chapel. Burial with military honors by the U.S. Marine Corps will follow at Oakhaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Mon. 1-8 p.m., and family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM.

Ronnie died Fri., June 4, 2010, at his home at the age of 68.

The son of Virgil Wayne and Edith Clara (Eagleton) Wilson was born May 2, 1942, in Bartlesville. The family moved to Claremore when Ronnie was young and he attended Claremore Schools. Ronnie served in the U.S. Marines. On March 30, 1968, he married Sharon Joyce Bridges in Nowata, OK and they made their home in Claremore. He went to work for Agrico for 15 years. Then went to work for the Tulsa County Fairgrounds as an electrician were he retired in 2004. Ronnie enjoyed fixing things, trout fishing, working in the yard, and being with his granddaughter (SWEETPEA).

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jimmy Dale Wilson.

He is survived by his wife Sharon, son Loy, daughters Shelley and Stephanie Wilson, granddaughter Ciarra Boyles, brother Jerry Wilson and wife Ava all of Claremore and countless friends and relatives.
