Roscoe Hinkle, the son of Cy and Rosa (Bolin) Hinkle, was born March 9, 1934, in Corbin, Kentucky. He passed away on February 6, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 82.

In 1967, he moved his family to Oklahoma from Ohio. They made their home in the Claremore area. Roscoe began working at Standard Industries, which later became APAC. He was employed there for 32 years. He was a very hard worker and worked long and tiring hours as a loader. In his spare time he loved to go fishing. When Roscoe retired, he and Anna Rose enjoyed traveling together to many different states.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son Jim; brothers Howard and Floyd; sisters Mable, June and Marie.

Those family members that survived include his wife Anna Rose Hinkle; daughter Bonnie Rose Hinkle Clark; grandsons Jamie Hinkle and wife Cheryl, James Hinkle, John Hinkle and Jody Smith; granddaughters Roseanna Clark Ellis and Julia Hinkle Leeper and husband Matt, and many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
