Roy Eugene Schultz

June 15, 1962 — July 26, 2022

Roy Eugene Schultz passed away on July 26, 2022 at the age of 60.
Roy was born on June 15, 1962, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Earl and Peggy (Petrey) Schultz. The Schultz family moved from base to base all over the country before settling in Claremore, Oklahoma. Roy graduated from Sequoyah Public School in 1980.
It was then that Roy embarked on a career in the automotive body industry and over the years, became well-known for his excellent work and attention to detail. He took great pride in making sure his work was done to the best of his ability and looked as good as new.
In May 1993, Roy and Tamra Buckner Schultz married. They welcomed Dalton Chance Schultz in 1996 and Callie Ruth Schultz in 2000. They were the light of his life and he was proud watching them grow into amazing young adults. He enjoyed spending time with them at home, working cattle, riding 4-wheelers or the tractor, watching them at school events and playing multiple sports over the years.
Roy developed an affinity for the game of golf and shared the love of the game with friends, Whitney Main and Scott Weaver. Many weekends were spent together on golf courses and golf trips enjoying a cigar and each other’s company.
Roy is survived by his son, Dalton Chance Schultz and daughter, Callie Ruth Schultz. He is also survived by his siblings, Herb and Larna Schultz, Ruth (Schultz) Klontz and Elaine (Schultz) Smith, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of loving friends.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Peggy Schultz.
At Roy’s request, no services will be held. However, if you would like to honor Roy, the family respectfully requests a donation be made to the American Heart Association in his name.
