Graveside service for Ruth Adalene Gorman will be 11 a.m., Mon., Feb. 27, at Highland Cemetery. Burial will follow under the direction of the Inola Funeral Home & Crematory.
Ruth died Tues., Feb. 21, 2012, at Claremore Regional Hospital at the age of 89.
The daughter of James Oscar and Lola (Taylor) Loyd was born Aug. 8, 1922, in Russellville, AR. Ruth grew up in Tulsa, and graduated from Tulsa Central High School. She married Russell Michael Gorman on June 13, 1946; and in 1966, they made their home in the Inola area. Ruth was a homemaker; and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed painting, gardening, ceramics, and going to garage sales.
Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Russell in 1985; her parents; and brothers: Jerry, Truman, and Thurman.
She is survived by her children: Larry Gorman, Gary Gorman and wife, Sandra, and Gayle Isgar; sister, Darlene Varano and husband, Joe; grandchildren: Brett Gorman, Shannon Padgett, Keith Gorman, Raven Galutza and husband, Mark, and Stacy Collins; 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
