Ruth Colleen "Connie" Hamilton

Service for Ruth "Connie" Colleen Hamilton will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel in Claremore, Oklahoma. Visitation will be from 1:00 - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at MMS-Payne Funeral Home, Claremore, Oklahoma.
Connie was born September 4, 1943 in Tulsa to parents Delbert Ray Metzger and Lee Ella Gardner Metzger. Connie was a hairdresser for many years and later pursued her passion for music by playing in a country and rock and roll band. She loved her family and loved spending time with them. She loved playing cards and spending time at the lake with her children and granchildren.

Connie is survived by her husband Johnny Hamilton of the home; sons Tommy Anderson and his wife Stacy of Muskogee, Steven Anderson and his wife Kandis of Claremore, and John Hamilton and his wife Adrienne of Broken Arrow; daughers Kim Daniels of Broken Arrow, and Lori Moore and her husband Dale of Claremore; sister Mary Kerby of Arizona, and brother Dale Metzger of Tulsa; grandchildren Donnie McDonald and his wife LeeAnn of Claremore,Tommy and Alex Anderson of Muskogee, Kelsea Tow and Selena Anderson of Tulsa, Kami Lockhart of Claremore, Breona Daniels of Tulsa, Justin Moore of Tulsa, Gabriel and Katlyn Moore of Claremore, Deserae, Destiny, and Sierra Hamilton of Broken Arrow, and Chad Anderson of Claremore, Steven Anderson of Claremore; great-grandchildren Miah McDonald of Claremore, Mikah Johnson of Tulsa, Addalynn Anderson, and Tristan Tow of Tulsa.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Jack, James and Mark Metzger and sister Patricia Christie.
