Sally Howard

Service for Sally Wahlela Howard will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Memorial Heights Baptist Church.  Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 25, from 2pm-6pm.  Sally passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023.  She was 98.

Born March 29, 1925 in Park Hill, Oklahoma to Ned and Ida Myrtle (Nave) Still, her great-great grandfather was Chief John Ross.  

On March 27, 1952, Sally married Hugh G. Howard in a Muskogee, Oklahoma ceremony.  This union was blessed with two daughters.

A wonderful mother, grandmother and friend, Sally will be missed by all who knew her.  Those family members that survive include her daughters Marilyn Howard Prestage and husband Greg of Cleveland, Oklahoma and Terri Howard of Claremore;  granddaughter Jami L. Higgins also of Cleveland, Oklahoma; her three great-grandchildren Devin of Broken Arrow, Zoe of Cleveland, and RyLee also of Cleveland.  Sally was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Hugh G. Howard.
