Memorial service for Saundra Sue "Sandy" Morrison will be 1 p.m., Mon., Sept. 14, at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ben Husted officiating.
Sandy passed away Wed., Sept. 9, 2015, at Hillcrest Hospital Claremore at the age of 66.
The daughter of Harvey Wells and Lois (Briggs) Wells was born Feb. 25, 1949, in Tulsa. She grew up and attended schools in Tulsa, Hulbert, and Catoosa. While attending a school basketball game in Catoosa, she met the love of her life, Tommy Clark Morrison. They were married on June 4, 1966. Tommy and Sandy lived throughout the U.S. while Tommy worked as an engineer. In 1996, they made their home in Claremore.
Sandy worked hard to take care of her husband and four girls. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren; and watching her crime shows, court TV, and scary movies. She also enjoyed her time relaxing with a margarita.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and son-in-law, Loris Burger III.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Tommy of the home; daughters: Christy Hinton and husband, Bob of Tulsa, Lisa Burger of Bixby, Jeanie Dorsey and husband, Joe of Claremore, and Tommie Michelle Benshoof and husband, Frank of Wagoner; brother, Steve Wells and wife, Connie of Claremore; 15 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
