Sharion Ellen Hicks was born on Sept. 28, 1947 in Ponca City, OK along with her twin brother Marion Neighbors.
She went to meet her Lord & Savior on Dec. 4, 2021 at the age of 74. She spent her early childhood in Hominy, OK
before moving to Tulsa, OK where she graduated from McClain High School in Tulsa with the class of 1965.
In 1962 she met her one true love at first sight upon attending a retreat at Falls Creek Youth Camp and in 1965
she married that man, Clyde Earl Hicks in which they had just celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on Nov. 12, 2021.
They lived in Ft. Worth, TX, Pine Bluff, AR, Chouteau, OK & then settled in Claremore, OK.
She was blessed with two children Brian and Greg Hicks whom she was very proud of.
She was a woman who loved her family and friends at the highest level. She had a big smile with an even bigger spirit
that touched anyone who crossed her path. She is remembered by all as a sweet, compassionate and creative person.
She enjoyed collecting antiques, quilt making, crocheting, painting, gardening, scrapbooking, interior design and
trips to Colorado with her best friends Dick & Judy Hendricks.
She is survived by her loving husband and biggest fan Clyde Hicks along with her children Brian and Greg Hicks,
her adored grandchildren Gibson Hicks, Cortney Elliot, Savannah Hollar, Abbie Turman & Tori Turman.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, E.J. and Natona Neighbors and her twin brother Marion Neighbors.
The memorial service and celebration of her life will be held on Friday Dec.10, 2021 at 10:30am at the
First Baptist Church in Claremore, OK.
