The son of George and Marilyn Dennis King-Peterman was born December 15, 1964 in Claremore. As a young boy he attended Westside Elementary in Claremore. He and his family later moved to Tulsa. He could quote statistics of many sports, but was an expert when it came to NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt and St. Louis Rams football. He even scheduled his vacation around the NFL draft so he could stay updated on his favorite team.
