Graveside service for Sherry Ann Thompson will be 11 a.m., Tues., Dec. 3, at Sweeten Cemetery with Pastor T.J. Helling officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of the Inola Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Mon. 1-8 p.m.
Sherry passed away Sat., Nov. 30, 2013, at her home at the age of 65.
The daughter of Carl J. and Bonnie Maxine (Harris) Fleming was born March 3, 1948, in Colorado. She grew up in Tulsa, and remained there until moving to Inola 18 years ago. Sherry worked several different jobs while raising her family. They included Braden Wench in Broken Arrow where she worked as a machinist, and her own cleaning company, Thompson's Cleaning Company. Sherry enjoyed sewing, making crafts, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Carl J. Fleming, Jr.
Survivors include her children: Butch Clay and wife, Amy of Tulsa, Stefanie Cooper and husband, Ray of Inola, and John Clay and wife, Cassandra of Owasso; siblings: Dean Fleming and wife, Jan, of Strang, Bonnie Jones of Skiatook, and Dave Fleming and wife, Tammy of Skiatook; and grandchildren: Jessica Cooper, Andrew Cooper, Cally Clay, Rachel Clay, and Wyatt Clay.
