Shirley Kay Akers

Shirley Akers of Chelsea passed away Monday, July 29. Private family services will be held. She is survived by husband Marvin Akers of the home, three daughters, Traci and Stoney Owens of Hominy, Candi and Olvin Eslick of Talala, and Marla Peugh of Chelsea. Also six grandkids that she adored, and one great-granddaughter, one sister, Sharon Robinson, and three brothers, Tony, Johnny, and Rick Wilcox.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ellen and Roy Wilcox, one sister, Sandra Dyer, and one brother, Ronnie Wilcox.
