A private ceremony will be held at his “farm”. The place where he spent so many happy days taking care of the pasture the barn and tending to his horses.
Steve was born May 21st, 1934 in Chicago, IL to Greek immigrants Stavros and Despina Kachantones. He was one of four children.

Steve held multiple sales positions taking him from Illinois to Texas to Oklahoma before finally settling down in Claremore in 1976 with his wife and two kids, John and Sara. Those that knew Steve would agree that sales is what he was born to do!
One of his great passions was horses, especially cutting horses. He loved everything associated with the cowboy way - the people, the horses, the futurities and the stories. He spent many mornings and afternoons at the coffee/doughnut shops telling jokes and swapping stories. He had and infectious personality that everyone loved to be around!
