Memorial service for Steve Allen Lucas will be 5 p.m., Thurs., Sept. 16, at the Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Chapel with Rev. Michael Clark officiating.
Steve died Sun., Sept. 12, 2010, at his home at the age of 51.
The son of Charles Edward and Anita Jewel (Tosh) Lucas was born Aug. 2, 1959, in Siloam Springs, AR. Steve grew up in Broken Arrow, and graduated from Broken Arrow High School. He worked for Tulsa Centerless as a grinder for 17-1/2 years. In Steve's spare time he loved fishing, playing drums and guitar, traveling, cooking, and spending time with his grandkids. On Oct. 15, 2005, Steve married Sandra Lee Cobb in Claremore.
Steve is survived by his wife, Sandy of the home; parents: Charles and Anita Lucas of Broken Arrow; children: Stefan Lucas and wife, Shandiin of Arizona, Sgt. Chad Lucas and wife, Shannon of Broken Arrow, and Cesilie Lucas of Wyoming; honorary son, Steve Martin of Claremore; sister, Barbara Knowlton and husband, Dr. Terry Powell of Claremore; grandchildren: Lydia and Violet Lucas, and Andrew Lucas; and honorary grandchildren: Aaron and Steven "Bubba" Martin.
