Steven Orville Hayford

A visitation will be held for Steven Hayford at the funeral home on Monday, July 31, 2023 from 1pm-7pm. 
Steven Orville Hayford, passed away on July 27, 2023, in Claremore, Oklahoma. He was 66.  Born on May 2, 1957, in Valentine, Nebraska, Steven was the son of Clarence and Frances (Levendosky) Hayford. 

Steven's early years were spent in Valentine until he relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma. He attended school in Valentine before continuing his education at McClain High School. Steven had a strong work ethic and after completing his schooling, he embarked on a career in road construction. He worked diligently both in Nebraska and later at Georgia Pacific Lumber. Eventually, Steven found his calling at Cedar Creek where he dedicated many years of service before retiring.

Beyond his work commitments, Steven cultivated a range of hobbies and interests that brought him great joy. He had a keen eye for bargains and enjoyed attending auctions and garage sales. His collection of Hot Wheel cars was a testament to his passion for collecting unique items. Additionally, Steven remained devoted to following the events of the Young and Restless soapopera.

Those family members that survive include his sons, Cody Hayford and wife BreAnna and Mike Schoch; his grandchildren Jericho Berlin, Landon Hayford, Adam Schoch, and Alissa Schoch; his sisters Rose Bennett and Amy Reifers.  Steven was preceded death by his parents.
