Steve Tucker, a resident of Claremore, OK, died on September 28, 2021, at the age of 69 from complications of Covid-19.
Steve is survived by his wife Shirley Tucker; his children Quint Tucker and wife Audra, and Heather Stauder and husband Matt; grandchildren Briley Stauder and wife Victoria, Jaren Stauder, Dalton Tucker, Harlie Tucker, and Kodi Tucker; great-granddaughters Darcy and Nora Stauder; mother Evelyn Tucker; and brothers Forest and Johnny Tucker.
Steve was born in Tennessee on September 6, 1952, to Gilbert "Sunny" Tucker and Evelyn (Legg) Tucker. Steve would marry his true love, Shirley, on December 30, 1978. With Shirley by his side, he would go on to start his own company, Structural Welding Service, which he operated until he retired in 2001, due to health complications.
Steve was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with his beloved wife Shirley. When not enjoying the outdoors, he could often be found at the ball fields or basketball court watching his grandchildren play. Steve was a master craftsman who enjoyed working with his hands, building and working on projects for his family and friends. He did not attend church often, but was a spiritual man who found comfort in the Lord, and enjoyed reading his Bible in his home, surrounded by his favorite memories that the Lord had blessed him with. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
